“Horikita Manabu, you have potential. If you join the Student Council, I will use my authority to appoint you as the Vice President.”
“The next Student Council President… will be you.”
His confident, unwavering declaration echoed throughout the office.
Horikita Manabu: “…”
He understood now.
This bastard just didn’t want to handle all the paperwork.
And now that he only had one semester left, he wanted to drag him back in as a workhorse.
“I refuse. I’ve already resigned.”
“There’s no rule saying you can’t rejoin after quitting,” Uesugi countered smoothly.

“But since you insist on keeping your distance… I suppose I have no choice but to reveal my trump card.”
With a dramatic flourish, he whipped out a sheet of paper and slammed it onto the desk.
BANG!
“You haven’t forgotten about this, have you?”
Horikita Manabu’s expression darkened the moment his eyes landed on the document.
That contract.
That one condition.
Uesugi’s face twisted into a grotesque grin as he burst into laughter.
“Ahahahaha! I gave it back to you last time, but you didn’t take it!”
“Since that’s the case, don’t mind if I do!”
“Horikita Manabu! As Student Council President, I hereby order you to rejoin the Student Council!”
“I appoint you to the position of Administrative Officer.”
“From this day forward, you are forbidden from falling ill, taking leave, arriving late, or skipping class. You will dedicate yourself entirely to the Student Council! You will serve me until the day you perish! Your life and honor now belong to your President!”
Horikita Manabu’s face stiffened.
“Are you seriously threatening me into this?” he asked in a deadpan tone.

“Go ahead!”
Uesugi spread his arms wide, completely unfazed.
“Not only would you have to swallow your pride and ask your own sister for help, but even if you do, the worst she can do is beat me up.”
“And honestly? A single beating in exchange for a free workhorse?”
“Totally worth it.”
“SO—”
He slammed the table again, his eyes blazing with anticipation.
“Sā, choose!”
“Will you rejoin the Student Council and become my workhorse?”
“Or will you break our contract and forever stain your name as a man who goes back on his word?”
This scenario…
