A crisp, echoing sound rang through the entire field.
Ryūen’s smirk vanished.
His head snapped to the side.
For a moment, faint wisps of smoke seemed to rise from his skull.
His brain buzzed, his vision blurred, and all he could do was weakly raise a trembling finger.
“D-dishonorable…!”
And with that—
He collapsed.
Uesugi stared blankly at the fallen Ryūen.
So he waxed his headband.
When Uesugi had tried to grab it, his fingers had slipped right off, and instead of stopping his momentum—
His hand had followed through.
With a full-force palm strike straight to the head.

Silence spread across the field.
Horikita’s expression twitched.
So when he said he’d avenge her… he had meant literally sending Ryūen to the hospital?!
Meanwhile, Uesugi promptly pointed at the unconscious Ryūen and shouted at the referee,
“Ref! He’s flopping! And he waxed his headband—that’s against the rules!”
Class C immediately panicked.
There was no hiding the evidence.
