“You’re awake. The surgery was a success. Congratulations, Shouko—you’re a girl now.”
A calm and meticulous voice sounded from beside him.
“Nani?!”
Ryūen shot up in shock—only to completely ignore the fact that his limbs were tightly bandaged.

He crashed to the floor.
“HAHAHAHA!”
Seated backward in a chair, arms resting over the backrest, Uesugi Gen burst into laughter.
“You bastard, Uesugi!”
“You should be thanking me for visiting. I even turned down Sakayanagi-san’s invitation for you, you know? She wasn’t too happy about it.”
Still wincing from the pain, Ryūen pushed himself up from the floor. As he glanced around, the memories of what had happened slowly came back to him.
“My guys—where are they?”
Uesugi grinned.
“Next door. Nagumo Miyabi’s there too. You got the worst of it, so they gave you your own room.”
“Nagumo? You mean that loser who walked in and got one-shot KO’d?”
“That kind of guy actually became the Student Council Vice President? What a joke.”
Ryūen scoffed.
Gradually, the memories of the locker room brawl pieced themselves together in his mind.
That blond idiot had walked in, shocking everyone. Seeing them fighting, he had confidently declared that he would show them his strength—only to get knocked out before he could even undo his tie.
Pathetic.
Thinking back on it, Ryūen lifted his head again and stared at Uesugi, his bloodshot eyes filled with intensity.
“Uesugi. Tell me—who the hell was that masked perverted voyeur freak?”
Uesugi frowned.
“The what?”
“The masked perverted voyeur freak! The one who was insanely strong!”
Ryūen gestured animatedly.
“Albert?”

“Nagumo Miyabi?”

“He wasn’t wearing glasses! It wasn’t that four-eyed nerd!”

Ryūen grasped at one last strand of hope.

Uesugi’s lips curled into a mocking smile.
“According to Nagumo—who woke up before you—he got into an argument with you guys, which escalated into a scuffle, and since he was outnumbered, he lost.”

A vein bulged on Ryūen’s forehead.
“Has that guy’s brain been stuffed with garbage?!”
“He’s got a reputation to maintain, after all.”
Uesugi chuckled.
If word got out that Nagumo had been one-punched into unconsciousness, his authority in the second-year student body would plummet. His entire rule would be shaken.
So since the real culprit had already vanished, he might as well take advantage of the situation and spin the story into a simple brawl, keeping his position intact.
“Wait a damn minute.”
Ryūen suddenly processed something, his expression twisting into one of rage as he turned to glare at Uesugi.
“Other people might not believe it, but you, you bastard—you definitely know something!”
He had planned to ambush Uesugi, followed him into the locker room, and yet, instead of finding him, he’d stumbled upon the remote-controlled car.
And the moment he had picked it up, the masked pervert had stormed in and attacked them.
This wasn’t a coincidence.
It was a trap.
Which meant Uesugi had known everything from the start.
Hell—Uesugi had planned for Ryūen to end up brawling with that freak!

The RC car’s memory card was in Uesugi’s hands. Combined with the footage he had, he had enough evidence to destroy the culprits.
But for that to work, he needed to prove two things:

Uesugi’s class could be ruled out—he wouldn’t target his own classmates.
Sakayanagi’s class had only sent a handful of boys, and none of their bags looked big enough to carry a remote-controlled car.

“I—I don’t know what you’re talking about!”
Yamauchi stammered, breaking into a cold sweat.
Getting expelled over this? No way.
“You don’t have to talk.”
Ryūen cracked a cruel grin.
“I’ll make you.”
At his signal, his underlings swarmed Yamauchi, fists and kicks raining down on him.
“One last chance.”
Ryūen grabbed Yamauchi by the hair, yanking him upright.
“You felt it, didn’t you? We weren’t even hitting your weak spots. If you don’t talk, this will be daily.”
Yamauchi, trembling and on the verge of tears, finally broke.
“I-I’ll tell you! I’ll tell you who the masked pervert is!”
“Good. Now talk! Who the hell is he?!”
“I… I am!”
“…”
