“He looked far too lively. I merely removed the possibility of a counterattack.”
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the three starry-sky sphinxes running over again, so he casually struck and knocked them back once more.
There was no helping it. A threefold-firepower Ea was simply that strong.
Suddenly, as if she had remembered something, Ishtar grabbed Gilgamesh’s arm.
“Gil, stop firing!”
“Hm?”
Gilgamesh frowned. Not firing did not exactly suit his wishes.
SNAP!
A figure stood up from the ruins. Gilgamesh looked over and saw Ramesses II, completely unharmed.
His expression finally changed dramatically, his face full of rage as he glared at Gilgamesh.
“An Authority akin to resurrection, is it?”
Gilgamesh understood. This could no longer be explained by defense alone.

BOOOOOOOOOM!
He angled Ea toward the ground again, while Ishtar’s expression suddenly turned despairing.
