“Chen Lin,” Serval began, her tone more serious now, “you’ve done so much for Belobog. Whether it’s through my brother, the neighbors, or anyone else, I’ve heard all about it. But I must ask you to be cautious.”
“Oh?” Chen Lin raised an eyebrow, feigning ignorance. “What exactly do you mean by that?”
Initially, he thought she might be here to ask for a favor, but her words suggested otherwise. Her sudden shift in tone carried a weight that immediately set him on edge.
“You’ve given Belobog hope—new energy, new theories, and now a chance to reclaim lost ground. These past two days, you’ve become a beacon for the people…” Serval’s expression darkened, and she lowered her voice.
“But please, be wary of Cocolia.”
